Failure behavior
If every enabled news source fails, the prior successful source snapshot remains available and the rolling brief does not advance its as-of date. The administration dashboard records source-level failures for follow-up.
Reproducible by design
Methodology and limitations
- Refresh the allowlisted publisher feeds once daily at 11:00 UTC and retain the previous snapshot if a source fails.
- Accept only valid, dated precious-metals headlines from the configured publisher domains.
- Publish a new as-of date only when at least one enabled news source succeeds.
